Annual Snowflake Boutique: Nov. 5th & 6th

This is the 35th anniversary for the Snowflake Boutique and it is looking like is it going to be bigger than ever. If you have not had the pleasure of experiencing this event, please reserve the time to do so. This could be your one stop shopping center and a wonderful beginning to the holiday season.


Bach-n-Brew at the High Desert Museum: Nov. 5th
Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer and his band return to Central Oregon to perform at the High Desert Museum for the Sunriver Music Festival's Bach-n- Brew concert. This concert is a joint collaboration between the Sunriver Music Festival and the High Desert Museum.


Central Oregon's Last Comic Standing: Nov. 12th
A total of 12 semi-finalists will take the stage for a 5 minute act during the four qualifying nights where the audience will vote to see who advances to the finals. At stake -$5,000 in cash and prizes.On the finals night, the qualifying comics will be judged by a select panel of judges. Veterans Day Fun Run: Nov.13th
This is a charitable event to raise money for the Disabled American Veterans. The race will kick off in downtown Bend next to City Hall.

Bend Turkey Trot: Nov. 25th
Runners and walkers of all skill levels are encouraged to join this festive, family friendly celebration. Chase the turkey through the course while you hunt for items redeemable for fun prizes from local businesses!


Come celebrate the Holiday season in Sunriver. Start new traditions with celebrations that embrace the season together. From Thanksgiving Day through to New Year's Day there will be over 150 family events for you to enjoy. It will be a season to treasure, and definitely one to remember.



Grand Illumination- The Grand Beginning: Nov. 26th
Watch as Sunriver lights up and the season kicks off with the Grand Illumination- Central Oregon's biggest holiday light display! The evening will feature sleigh rides, live music, a magician, holiday characters and a special Warren Miller movie. The celebration begins with hot chocolate, holiday treats and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. The official commencement is 4pm, with sleigh rides from 4 - 7pm, and admission is FREE!


Gingerbread Junction: Nov. 25th - Dec. 26th
Come take a stroll down Cinnamon Lane and see the largest collection of gingerbread houses in the Northwest. These extravagantly decorated home sweet homes will be on display in the Sunriver Lodge.


Santa's Workshop: Nov. 27th - Dec. 30th
Step into the magical world of Santa's Workshop- the perfect place to create homemade gifts and decorations.


Daily Snowshoe Tours : Nov. 2010 - Jan. 2011
Snowshoe off-trail and into a snowy winter wonderland. Wanderlust Tours' professional naturalist guides bring the area alive for you with vibrant interpretation along the way and snow play for all. No experience is required and the trips include transportation, a guide, snowshoes and hot drinks. Great for all ages since snowshoeing is invigorating and easy to learn!


Snowmobile Excursions : Nov. 2010 - Jan. 2011
Looking for a thrilling adventure? Then this trip is for you! Explore the powder-filled meadows and high mountain terrain that make this region a world-class winter playground. This four-hour tour includes a stop at the remote and rustic Elk Lake Resort. Get ready to experience the thrill of a lifetime. Trips depart twice daily from the Wanoga Snow-Park.
